Methods

Axiom uses the industry best practices for web development. We run our projects with the agile methodoloy which means that stakeholders get frequent progress demos, which help to guide progress. We track all our work in the project manager Jira. We use development and testing phases to deliver quality results and manage all our code through github.

Technologies

We like the LAMP stack and especially Laravel and WordPress. These are often the starting points for our projects and we can customize them as needed. Sometimes a completely bespoke approach is required and we can do that too.

Servers & hosting

For small to medium projects we host our servers on Digital Ocean. All projects have their own dedicated servers. For large enterprise sites, we prefer AWS. If you already have hosting, we can use that too.

Priorities

We place a high value on well written and well formed code that any competent developer will quickly understand. We also prize usability and engaging front end desing. Fast load times are a must.
